Dear Diary,

I just downloaded FL studio today, I’m still going to take advantage of the free trial before I buy it but I’m pretty sure it’s going to be the DAW I try to master first.

It’s definitely a lot to take in and I have to figure out a lot of stuff but I’m glad I watched a bunch of people using it before I actually tried it. I think I’ll get the hang of it eventually. I mean how hard could it be right? lol

I want to learn how I’m going to be able to add my own recordings and connect my piano to it but let’s just take shit slowly. I mean I am still working my dead end job that’ll keep me alive as long as I don’t quit. Damn I just feel like it’s all coming together now. Just very very slowly.

I don’t know why I keep trying to learn a bunch of skills by myself but I’m determined to learn.

Here’s a quick run down of what we have right now

-Fitness 9/10

(I think I eat too much sweets)

-Japanese 8/10

(we need to learn to make songs with it)

-Korean 4/10

(I can understand a lot now but for now just keep on reading manwha and watching in korean)

-Piano 4/10

(I definitely improved big time on this one but what I want to learn with it for now is how to recreate sounds specially to be able to identify a songs chord progression pattern by ear and for that I’m trying to get perfect pitch down to 100 for now then we’ll move on to more functional training)

-FL Studio 1/10

(this is my sandwich. If I can get this down all the rest will fall into irrelevance)

-Video Editing (⭐️) I’ll just give this one a star because I really won’t be needing that much as long as I have my other skills nailed in

my sandwich sucks rn but I’ll give it the most attention out of all. If I fail… I don’t know I just think this shits fail proof…

I mean i just make music for the rest of my life from here on no matter what happens. If that fails well… I’m still pretty jacked. I know 3 languanges fluently(and I’m learning my 4th one) and I got a pretty okay face.

How could that even fail if I’m not really doing this for money though?

Well I guess it just means we’ll have to work until we’re 50 years old. But then still… It’ll probably be a pretty decent life nonetheless. I mean most people work until they 50 or something… Luci why is the world so unfair to underdeveloped countries… I can’t believe that just because I’m a citizen of a developed country I get to have a pretty okay life just because I have arms and legs I mean even if I didn’t I’d probs still have an okay life. This is so depressing. My peeps back in the Philippines really do be struggling for real.

I wonder what Persephone would think if I never got free from my 9-5.

Oh well, She’s my partner for life so we’ll just find a way to work things out whatever happens.
